About Nehemiah 8:10
Nehemiah 8:10 teaches us that joy comes from God, not from having everything together. The people were sad when they heard God’s Word, but God told them to stop crying and to celebrate instead. He knew they needed joy to help them move forward. This joy was not about pretending life was easy. It was about trusting God even when things felt heavy. The joy of the Lord gives us strength when our own strength runs out.
